POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Principal Electrical Engineer
     POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the hydrocarbons refining, petrochemical, and/or closely related energy process industries.
  • Proven experience with Electrical equipment, schedules and project administration.
  • Detailed knowledge of IEEE and NEC codes, and commitment to Safety stewardship and management.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas is preferred.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all engineering and design work on schedule and within the budget of man hours.
  • Support the Lead Electrical Engineer on a task force.
  • Interfaced with other Electrical Engineers and various discipline engineers and designers.
  • Participate in developing the project schedule relative to the Electrical engineering and design activities and assist in the preparation of the Electrical man hour estimate.
  • May serve as the department Lead Electrical Engineer on large sized projects.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentoring to other Electrical Engineers and Designers.
