Commonwealth Engineering and Construction, LLC seeks a Project Engineer to work in Houston, Texas to provide technical support to engineering staffProvide technical support to engineering staff. Review plans and other technical documents, answer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project, and monitor costs and project progress. Assist in the development of cost estimates or tentative schedules. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Ensure technical excellence of the engineering portion of projects across all disciplines. Coordinate the various engineering, construction, purchasing, and scheduling and start-up aspects of a project. Direct design and review, flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagram specification(s) development for mechanical equipment, technical support, evaluations, and hazardous operations. Commonwealth Engineering and Construction, LLC seeks a Process Engineer to work in Houston, Texas to perform all aspects of design engineering and analysis for new assigned units. Provide technical guidance to less experienced drafting and engineering personnel. Evaluate and design all process equipment (such as pumps, vessels, heat exchangers, process towers, instrumentation, relief devices etc.) and the interconnecting piping. These evaluations and designs involve detailed simulation work and use of design tools to calculate and define process conditions like flows, pressures and temperatures, used for example to size piping, pumps and control valves. Develop equipment and instrument specification sheets. Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Line Lists and Instrument Lists.
