POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Principal Piping Designer - CADWorx
     POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Technical piping design experience(s) in the hydrocarbons refining, petrochemical, and/or closely related energy process industries. 
  • Advanced-level experience in CADWorx design.
  • Knowledgeable and familiar with applicable Engineering Principles, Process Technologies, and current statutory and professional Design/ standards and codes.

     POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare piping layouts and conceptual designs for difficult and complex problems.
  • Prepare complex piping design drawings.
  • Interface with other design disciplines.
  • Become proficient in other 2D and 3D CAD software, as required.
  • Check complex piping design drawings.
  • Perform squad check of vendor equipment drawings and drawings from other disciplines.
  • Assist Piping Design Supervisor, as required.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other piping designers.
  • Work independently with little to no supervision.
